Big Buddha Phuket - Thailand
While travelling through Thailand we made a stop in Phuket. Seeing how it was closer to the end of our trip and relatively cheap, we decided to find a nice private Air B&B with an infinity pool overlooking the ocean in a newer developed area filled with high end restaurants that had no customers. Needless to say, we took advantage of this. A quick 40 minute scooter ride to the other side of the city brought us to the top of a mountain with the famous Big Buddha, which we recommend anyone sees if stopping in Phuket! Standing 45m tall and covered in white jade marble tiles, this monument is quite the spectacle to see. We arrived just before sunset which lead to some epic drone shots.
